Joyce “Joysea” Schmoeckel,
nee Splettstoesser,
age 88, of Stillwater.
Preceded in death by 1st husband George Anderson and 2nd husband Albert “Jake” Schmoeckel.
Survived by sister Blanche Halgerson; children Ron (Sandra Kay) Anderson and Jane (Gary) Baggott; grandchildren Jeff, Jill, Jenny, Tami, Scott, Todd, Chad, and Missy; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Joyce loved her job at Northern States. She also loved going to Padre Island, Texas with her husband Jake. Her big love was the river in there boat the Joy Sea. Joysea also loved to clean and cook especially on the holidays.
Funeral Service 11 AM Monday April 27, 2009 at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 511 North 4th Street, Stillwater. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the CHURCH. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Marine on St. Croix. A special thanks to the staff at Good Samaritan in the Happy Days Unit. They made her last year a very special one. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Active Living Memorial Garden at the Stillwater Good Samaritan.
