Survived by loving and devoted husband of 64 years, J.R. “Dick” Stockstead; Children, William, Carol, Hans, & Jane; Grandchildren, Joel (Stephanie), Jacob (Lisa), Elizabeth, Brandon, & Benjamin; Great grandchildren Christopher, Joel Jr., Lucas; & sister, Hilde.
Lisa was a very compassionate, kind, & loving person - especially devoted to her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday August 13, 2009 at ST. MICHAEL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 611 South 3rd Street, Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church ATRIUM. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Covenant House, P.O. Box 731, Times Square Station, New York, NY 10108 or St. Croix Valley Life Care Center, 713 Co. Rd. 5, Stillwater, MN 55082.
Sincere thanks and appreciation to all of Lee’s doctors, Good Samaritan Society – Stillwater, the staff at Lakeview Hospice and VERY SPECIAL THANKS to the staff at Golden Living Center - Greeley, for their wonderful concern, love and care over the past 11 months.
