About Us

The roots of Simonet Funeral Home and Simonet’s Home Furnishings & Design run deep in the St. Croix Valley. In 1864 Sebastian Simonet, a master cabinetmaker and Swiss immigrant, opened Stillwater’s first funeral home and furniture store. 

Over the years the Simonet Funeral Home has always striven to provide dignified and compassionate service to the many families who call upon us. Our commitment is also reflected in our support of various organizations and activities throughout the region, including church and civic groups, schools and charitable organizations.
