Kelly Jane Westerdahl

Kelly Jane Westerdahl (Rog) passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the age of 56. Kelly was born on April 18, 1963 in Stillwater to James and Elizabeth (Hart) Rog. She attended and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1981. After graduating from school, she worked in sales and marketing at Andersen Windows for over 20 years. She was blessed with two children — a son, Andrew, and a daughter, Lauren. Kelly had a zest for life that will never be forgotten. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and her talents in the kitchen were something she took great pride in. She also loved her Minnesota sports teams, especially the Vikings and the Twins. She loved music and dancing and could often be found singing along to her favorite songs and attending community events with live music. She will be remembered for being a spitfire (and knowing she was), her contagious smile, and her fun-loving and outgoing personality. Kelly was preceded in death by her father, James; and her mother, Elizabeth. She is survived by her son, Andrew (Cynthia) Westerdahl; her daughter, Lauren (Adam) Longtin; two granddaughters, Sadie and Madison Westerdahl; her fiancé, David Norby; her five sisters, Barbara O’Neal, Cindy (John) Priebe, Betsy (Richard) Ellis, Carole Rog, and Jamie (Scott) Rue; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Simonet Funeral Home starting with a visitation at 10AM and a short service at 11AM.
