Sharon Lynn Gangeness

Sharon Lynn Gangeness was preceded in death by her loyal companion dogs, Pippen and Keeya. She peacefully passed on August 18, 2016 after 60 years of life. She was engaging, resilient and a pet-lover. Sharon enjoyed connecting with friends, family and pets, often stating "we need to visit more". She was a proficient wheelchair driver and known by her friends at dialysis as "speedy". Sharon's brothers David (Nancy), Duluth MN; Ron (Jeanine), Rochester MN; and Jason (Kathy), Lakeville MN, appreciated Sharon's ongoing zest for life. Her parents Marilyn and Earl of Bemidji MN were devoted advocates for Sharon and her independence. She gloried in the visits by all of her family, and especially her niece Annika (Jeff) St. Paul MN, and nephews Bjorn (Britt, Henrik, Karl) St. Paul MN, and Grant, Irvine CA. She attended schools in Crookston MN, Pipestone MN, Bemidji MN, and Jamestown ND. She resided and received exemplary care by the professionals at Premier Home Care Services in Burnsville for the past 10 years. Funeral Services for Sharon will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 with visitation for one hour prior to the service all at the Presbyterian Church of the Apostles, 701 East 130th Street, Burnsville, Minnesota 55337.
