A Loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, Niece, Cousin, and Friend
Alexandra Grace Schilling, lovingly known as Ali, passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2026, at the age of 30, surrounded by her family and friends in Stillwater, Minnesota.
Ali was born on June 1, 1995, in Burnsville, Minnesota to Scott and Anissa Schilling. She was the oldest of four children and grew up in Stillwater, where she built lifelong friendships and deep roots in her community. Ali attended Stillwater Area High School and later graduated from St. Catherine University.
Ali was preceded in death by her Nana, Sharon Steenson and is survived by her children Easton and Lennon; parents Scott and Anissa Schilling; siblings Joshua, Samuel, and John; grandparents Roderick Steenson, Beth Ann Moerke, Jim (Kathy) Schilling; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
At just six years old, Ali courageously battled leukemia and became cancer free. That early fight shaped who she was, instilling in her a deep strength and resilience that carried her through life's challenges with unwavering courage and determination.
Ali cherished life's simple and meaningful moments. She deeply treasured the love and bond she shared with her children, the warmth of the sun on her face, and the beauty of sunsets stretching across the mountains. She loved carefree jeep rides with the windows down and the music turned up, doting on her golden retrievers, and cozy nights snuggled up with friends watching favorite episodes of New Girl. Ali also found joy in slow Sunday breakfasts, and you could often find her smiling and laughing alongside her brothers in the kitchen as they prepared family dinners together. Above all, her quiet faith remained a steady and guiding presence in her life.
Ali lived for hot Minnesota summer days spent on the water and cool evenings on the front porch. A true foodie, Ali welcomed every opportunity to explore new flavors and experiences, always eager to try something different. She was a loyal Minnesota Vikings fan, always cheering on her team with pride and vigor. Ali found strength and clarity in the gym, never passing up a moment for a good workout. She enjoyed road trips to national parks, cherished family game nights, and had a rare gift for turning strangers into friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, March 12, 2026 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Shepherd of the Valley Church, 14107 Hudson Road South, Afton, MN. A Luncheon to follow at the Stills of Matchstick, 217 2nd Street North, Stillwater, MN 55082.
Ali's greatest pride and deepest love were her children, Easton and Lennon. Her light, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
