Anne Thueson

Anne Alva Thueson, age 70, of Stillwater, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, after an extended illness. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Robert Thueson, her brother in-law, Floyd Hansen, her cousin, Tom Corrigan, as well as several aunts and uncles. Anne is survived by her siblings, Tom (Kathy), Jack (Sue), Sally Hansen, and Patrick (Luba). She is also survived by an uncle, Tom Hooley (Betsy) as well as 12 nieces and nephews, along with their families. Anne was a lifelong Stillwater resident who loved traveling, listening to music, seeing plays at the Guthrie Theater, trying out new restaurants and watching old movies. She always had a smile and a big hug for her nieces and nephews, and loved hearing about their latest adventures and accomplishments. Family meant everything to her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 29th, at the Church of St. Michael, 611 Third St. S., Stillwater, MN 55082 with visitation one hour prior to the Mass in the church atrium. Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery in Bayport. Following the Funeral Mass and graveside service, a luncheon will be served in Rose Hall at the Church of St. Michael. Memorials are preferred to Catholic Charities, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, or the Church of St. Michael.
