Christopher Lars Gipson

Christopher Lars Gipson (Gibby and Gip), age 51 of Stillwater, passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2018. Chris was born March 22, 1967 and was a graduate of Stillwater High School. He was a loving son, father, stepfather, brother, uncle and friend. Chris lived life to the fullest and was loved by everyone who met him. He had a big heart and gentle soul that touched many. He was so proud to have served his country in the Navy and in the Gulf War. He is survived by his son Ryan Christopher Gipson, parents Pat and Gary Gipson, brother Steve (Robin) Gipson, uncle Dick (Vicky)Larson, and nephew Nicholas Gipson. He is also survived by his always and forever, Heidi Martin, her children Ryan and Jamie, his former wife and mother of Ryan, Veronica Gipson, and Chris’ stepchildren, Casey Hanson and Carli Bednar. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
