David Malcolm Finger

David Malcolm Finger, age 97 of Stillwater, MN died September 22, 2016. He was born in Llanerch, PA and resided in Whiting, NJ before moving to Bayport, MN in 2005. He attended Fairleigh Dickenson University and worked in the shipping industry as an account executive. Prior to that he worked as a production coordinator for Bendix Aviation. Mr. Finger was a World War II veteran serving in the Southwest Pacific, Far East area for 35 months. David enjoyed golf and travel. He and his wife Joanne traveled the world visiting every continent except Antarctica. He had been a member of golf and shuffleboard clubs of Crestwood Village #6 and a driver for the handicap van services of CARES. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; sisters-in-law, Marquerite "Peg" McHugh, Jean Lemmer, Mary Swanson, Florence Finger; in laws Patrick and Elaine Connors; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave N., Stillwater, MN 55082 with visitation one hour prior.
