Lenore Kathleen Jensen

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Lenore Kathleen (Brabeck) Jensen of Stillwater, MN on August 23, 2026, at the age of 80. 

Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, sister, and fried, Lenore will be remembered by the compassion she showed for others and the light she brought to those who knew her.

Lenore ("Nora", "Nono") was born in and raised in St. Paul, MN where she attended Archbishop Murray High School. During high school she met her husband, Micheal. After her husband's service in the U.S. Air Force, they settled down in Stillwater to raise their family. 

Lenore spent her career in education, creating a safe and welcoming space to anyone who needed it. She saw the best in everyone who met her and will be remembered as a second mother to many. 

Throughout her life, Lenore enjoyed spending time with her family, riding her bike, going to Twins games, reading, playing solitaire, going to concerts and seeing plays on Broadway. She was an advocate for education, the arts, and equality. 

Lenore is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Michael; her daughter, Charlotte (Aaron), her two grandchildren, Sam and Kate; and her sisters, Bonnie, Joan, and Charlotte. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Helen; son, Stephen; and brother Micheal. 

A private burial will be held Friday, September 4th, 2026, with a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
