Mairlynn Kennedy

Mairlynn Joan Kennedy, age 82 of Lake Elmo, passed away September 13, 2026 at her home. Born on July 14, 1944, in St. Paul to William and Mildred (Radakovich) Nikituk, Mairlynn lived life with a spirit that was delightfully sassy, stubborn, and endlessly curious.

Her career as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines satisfied her deep love of travel, allowing her to explore all corners of the globe. Mairlynn was always on the move, whether playing tennis, paddling a kayak, or gathering with friends to play card games, particularly Bridge, and cherished outings to enjoy a meal at her favorite restaurants, including Olive Garden and Arby's. Above all, nothing brought her more joy than her grandkids, Elle and Adam, who always kept her heart full.

Mairlyn is survived by her son, Chris (Autumn); grandchildren Elle and Adam; brother-in-law Leo Moellerman; sister-in-law Pat Nikituk; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; as well as her siblings, Patricia Moellerman and Bill Nikituk.

A private gathering will be held to celebrate Mairlynn's life.
