Age 92 of Bayport was called home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2015. She served as a Registered Nurse in the U.S. Navy during WWII and continued to provide private duty care during her career. She was the longest residing resident at Croixdale in Bayport. Survived by her children, Mary Kane (Jerry), Cindy Thomas (Jeff), Chuck Meyer (Linda), Bob Meyer (Marie), Sue Keller (Paul), Colleen Ward (Steve); 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Glynn; and brother, Doug Brenny (Jeanne) Preceded in death by her husband, Frank; infant son, Joseph; parents, Joseph and Marion (Martini) Brenny; sister, Kathleen Baron; and brother, Robert Brenny. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 409 N 3rd St., Bayport, MN 55003 with visitation from 9 a.m. until the Mass at church. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The family would like to thank Arleene’s cargivers, Lilli Leslie and Sue Gramenz for their dedicated service. Memorials preferred to St. Charles Church.
