Karen Lee (Stone) Olson

Karen Lee (Stone) Olson, age 63 of Stillwater, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
Survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Scott; daughter, Michelle; siblings, Steve (Jan) Stone, Nancy (Les) LaCroix, Terry (Judy) Stone, Tom Stone.
Preceded in death by her parents; Warren and Helen (Dellorfano) Stone.
Karen was born in Baldwin, Wisconsin on June 30, 1959. She graduated from White Bear High School in 1977 and then went to work at 3M Company for 20 years as a Customer Service Analyst.
Scott and Karen were married on January 3, 1997 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During their honeymoon cruise, Karen fell in love with travel. She enjoyed traveling in the US and visited nearly 30 states including Alaska and Hawaii. She also enjoyed international travel and visited countries in South America, Central America, North America, Asia, Europe, and almost every island in the Caribbean.
Karen was a fun loving person who loved making jokes, hosting neighborhood gatherings, family reunions, and her annual News Years Day spaghetti dinner. She enjoyed many activities, including being on the communion bread baking team at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater and planning class reunions with her friends on her high school class reunion committee.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Trinity Lutheran Church, 115 5th St N, Stillwater, MN 55082 on Monday, January 23, 2023 with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Lunch will be served after the service.
