Mary Hurlburt Obituary

Mary Lou Hurlburt (nee Schuh), of Mahtomedi, MN July 12, 1934 to September 4, 2020 Mary Lou dedicated her life to her family and her Roman Catholic faith. Throughout her life as a married mother of 11, she instilled in her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren her love for them and her love for God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Mary Lou is survived by her eleven children; Gregory; Dorena and husband Lewis; Mitchell; Vivus, Jr.; Suzanne; Timothy; Theresa; Gerard and wife Dawn; Joseph and wife Debra; Anne; and Anthony. Ten grandchildren; Christopher and wife Nicole; Marie; Tara and husband Britton; Aubrey; Anthony; Tayler; Jackson; Alexander; Blake; and Kaylee. And five great-grandchildren; Britton, Jr.; Carly; Madison; Chloe; and Emma. All of whom she loved dearly. Mary Lou is also survived by her siblings; Robert and wife Myrna; Vicki and husband Maynard; Patrick and wife Nancy; and John and wife Jo Marie. As well as many nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws; and countless, precious friends. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Vivus W. Hurlburt, Sr.; her father, Roman Schuh, Sr.; her mother, Clara Schuh; and brothers, Roman, Jr. (Sonny); Joseph and Valerian. Mary Lou’s patience, kindness, humor, generosity and love will be greatly missed. Private family services with limited capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions. Funeral service will be live streamed and may be viewed at the website of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rock Falls, Wisconsin. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Rock Falls, Wisconsin.
